City Park Players, for over 60 years, has been the Premier Community Theatre of Central Louisiana. With a mission to provide quality theatrical performances to the citizens of Alexandria, Pineville and all the communities of Central Louisiana, in 1956 we opened our state of the art theatre built by volunteers and contributions from the businesses and citizens of CenLa. The Little Theatre in Bringhurst Park was destroyed by a fire on September 3, 2008 as a result of the storms of Gustav.
In spite of this loss the City Park Players are rising from the ashes. The 2009 season continued on the Hearn Stage in Downtown Alexandria. And the 2010 Season promises to be spectacular. See the News Page for all the latest details.
